Connecting Your Facebook Page
Facebook is one of the most popular platforms where customers leave reviews and recommendations. Connecting your Facebook Page to ReplyFlow lets you manage Facebook reviews alongside your other platforms.
Prerequisites
- A Facebook Business Page (not a personal profile)
- Admin access to the page
- Your Facebook login credentials
Step-by-Step Connection
- Log in to your ReplyFlow dashboard.
- Go to Settings > Platforms.
- Click Connect Facebook Page.
- You will be redirected to Facebook's authorization page.
- Log in to Facebook if you are not already logged in.
- Select the Facebook Page you want to connect from the list of pages you manage.
- Review the permissions and click Done.
- Confirm the connection back in ReplyFlow.
What Gets Synced
Once connected, ReplyFlow will import:
- Recommendations (the current Facebook review format)
- Legacy reviews (star-based reviews from before Facebook's switch to recommendations)
- Review comments and replies
New recommendations and reviews sync automatically throughout the day.
Managing Facebook Reviews in ReplyFlow
From the Reviews tab in your dashboard, you can filter to see only Facebook reviews. For each review, you can:
- View the customer's recommendation and any comments
- See the AI-generated response draft
- Edit the response if needed
- Approve and post the response directly to Facebook
Permissions Explained
ReplyFlow requests access to:
- Read page reviews and recommendations
- Post responses to reviews on your behalf
- Read basic page information (name, category, profile picture)
We do not post to your page's timeline, access your personal profile, or read your page's messages.
Troubleshooting
- Page not listed: You must have Admin access. Check your page roles in Facebook's Page Settings.
- "Session expired" error: Try logging out of Facebook completely, then reconnect through ReplyFlow.
- Reviews not appearing: Facebook syncs may take up to one hour for the initial import. If reviews are still missing after an hour, disconnect and reconnect the page.
- Multiple pages: You can connect multiple Facebook Pages. Repeat the process for each page you want to manage.
